Where The Fun Begins!

I've mentioned before on this blog just how big a fan I am of the Disney Afternoon. Last November, I wrote a ridiculously long post about voice actor Jim Cummings. In it, I drew a few characters from the shows of the Disney Afternoon. I had such a fun time drawing them, that I decided to keep going!

So here they are! Random characters I drew for the first of hopefully many posts over the weekday programming block of cartoons that first made me want to pick up a pencil and draw... aka The Disney Afternoon!

Gizmoduck

Sunni Gummi

Gadget Hackwrench

Fall-Apart Rabbit

And as a general rule of thumb from here on out, any post covering Disney Afternoon characters will be accompanied by ANOTHER character exclusive to my Facebook page! There's no real reason for this other than I think it's fun to get Facebook likes that aren't from my wife or mom.

Head on over and check it out!

You Can't Keep A Good Valentine Down

I don't mean to brag, but I'm pretty bad at coming up with witty Valentines... which is actually good because I don't think I ever received a Valentine that had something witty on it. It was always something like, "Have a Cheesy Valentine's Day!" and then a stock image of Monterey Jack from Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers. Actually... that's probably TOO witty. Maybe I'm not as good... or bad at this as I thought.

Whatever! Either way, I've made a few Valentines based on the Don Bluth classic, All Dogs Go To Heaven. I was going to just buy some, but Wal-Mart seemed to be all out! I couldn't find one single valentine based on this 1989 animated film! None that measured up to my incredibly low standards at least.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Rebooting Ruxpin - Princess Eruzia

Originally, The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin featured the brother-sister duo of Prince Aaron and Princess Aruzia. For my take, I decided to gender bend Aaron into Princess Erin. Therefore, I'm changing Aruzia's name to Eruzia, just so the siblings still have first names that start with the same letter. Here she is:

As opposed to her older sister, Eruzia is carefree and imaginative. A romantic at heart, she has no qualms whatsoever in embracing the fairytale aspects of her royal heritage.

Oh. And in case anyone is wondering, Eruzia's stuffed animal also has a name. It's Her Ladyship, the Grand Duchess Ingbriella.
