So I got out the Super Nintendo and have been playing some "Link to the Past" recently. And while it is one of the greatest Zelda games, it raises a few questions.
Why is Link's hair pink? Why does he appear to be wearing a poncho? And why do all of the stones have the number 8 on them? And I know it's a video game, but is it really necessary to kill all of the guards? Zelda says they're all under an evil spell. Do they really have to die, Link?!? Do they really have to DIE?!?
Hyrule will be home to many fatherless children thanks to you, Link. You Pegasus Boot-wearing Murderer!
It's been a REALLY busy week, but I thought I'd go ahead and post something. So, here's a few random things that I started but never got around to finishing... and probably never will.
And if that isn't a OPALESCENT setup, then I must not know what 'opalescent' means.
Apparently, Artoo is pretty hard to draw... or I got bored trying.
MY TOWN! At night. Drink it in.
A Gummi Bear was probably supposed to go in here.
I started this a long time ago for this epic Miyazaki-esque story idea that I had. There were supposed to be lots of flying cars and a floating generator thing around this artificial moon, but knowing me, I probably got wrapped up drawing Muppets instead.
Here is a quick sketch of the episode of "Quantum Leap" where Scott Bakula leaps into the cartoon cat and has to help all of the animals become movie stars.
...
...or was that "Cats Don't Dance"? I'm always getting them mixed up.
I was recently able to see comedian Brian Regan perform live... and it was AWESOME! So awesome that I decided to design t-shirts for some of his jokes.
If you've never heard of Brian Regan, then you NEED to check him out. He's hilarious. And besides, these shirts will make ZERO sense otherwise.
