There's So Much To Do!
I had planned on 2016 being the year of The Disney Afternoon here on the blog with as many posts related to the much beloved television lineup as my fanboy heart could muster. Things started out well enough, but alas, didn't really pan out as intended.
But this is a NEW year... with a NEW resolve! Therefore, I continue what I started last year by putting my own little artistic spin on a random selection of Disney Afternoon characters!

Oatmeal?
Well 2016 turned out to be kind of a bust for me, blogwise. It started out well enough, but eventually... went PPTTHhh!
But if there even is anyone still checking in, I thought I'd go ahead and cap off the year with a little drawing to spread some holiday cheer. And what better way to do that while staying true to the overall lackluster-ness that was Silly Nate 2016 than with this guy...
The kid who wanted to name Frosty the Snowman, Oatmeal.
Meh-rry Christmas, everyone!

YEEAAHOO!!!!
Some friends of mine are moving to a new home and requested that I draw them this for their change of address postcard. It's sort of a mashup between Star Wars (obviously) and Calvin and Hobbes.
Can you guess which one of their cats is my least favorite?

Why Did The Duck Cross The Road?
If there's anyone that still checks this blog, my apologies for the lack of posts lately. I'd like to say that I've taken the opportunity to travel more and enjoy the simple things of life during these past few summer months. But alas, the truth is I've downloaded Disney Crossy Road and can't seem to stop playing it. I guess there's something twisted, yet pleasurable about watching a wide variety of Disney characters get flattened by a moving vehicle.
You'll notice I didn't even make the time to sketch some fan art to accompany this post. What's the point? The app supplies me with a screen grab every time Donald here gets run down.
See ya on the other side, folks... unless they roll out with an Uncle Scrooge character! Then? Who knows?

Part Of Your Balanced Breakfast
When I was a kid, my dad was the manager at our local supermarket. This job came with some perks from time to time. He would occasionally bring home some free t-shirts or stuff like that. One time, he came home dressed as Batman, part of a store promotion for the Caped Crusader's new cereal. Oh yeah... AND he was able to take my family and I to Walt Disney World... for FREE! One of these perks that I remember quite vividly was right before Kellogg's included character toys from the Disney Afternoon in their cereal, and my dad had one of the packs pictured above for me and each of my brothers! Needless to say, I was ecstatic!
In remembrance of this pretty insignificant event that apparently held a lot of significance with me, I'm adding to my series of Disney Afternoon characters with the ones from this oh-so-cherished 4-pack of mine.
